EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique. EFT is a practical self-help method that involves using the fingers to gently tap on the body's acupuncture points along the meridian lines of Chinese medicine. It is often referred to as ‘EFT Tapping’ or simply as ‘Tapping’. The therapeutic effects of this technique are recognized around the world. One can use EFT tapping for anxiety, weight loss issues, pain, stress and many other issues.
By focusing on negative emotions or experiences, while putting light pressure on acupressure points, research has shown that EFT sends calming signals directly to the brain. This lowers the amount of stress hormones your body produces and modulates the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, which changes how you experience a situation.
Anyone who has negative emotions, bad memories, trauma, pain, or a situation that is causing distress. EFT allows you to experience surprising insights and empowers you to get clarity about your past, as you regulate your current emotional experience. You will learn to apply the techniques whenever you need to make yourself feel better.
